The United Boundaries award can be said to be one of the less valued awards in NukeZone, not having its own top list and there is usually not a lot of competition for this award.

Change and Effect - by Equinox
For the first round in at least 10 rounds (and probably 20) we had the changes released PRIOR to the start of the next round! Round 30 is almost over, and we would already like to welcome you to a new and exciting Round 31. The following adjustments and changes have been made for your enjoyment. Additional changes will be made during the round. Please also note that this list may change prior to the start of the new round.
Changes / Additions
* The maximum clan size has been changed to 15 (lowered from 20).
* Due to the new clan size, we have changed the amount of Clan Trustees per clan to 4 (lowered from 5).
* Point thresholds when attacking have been lowered by 25%, also due to the new clan size.
* Points when attacking is now based on the percentage of networth damage done in addition to total networth damage done.
* War Status has replaced the Clan Status. The War Status is calculated upon declaration of a war, is used for that individual war only, and is based on the following: total clan networth, total clan members and clan points rank difference between yours and the enemy clan.
* When a clan war declaration creates a mutual war, the war would be guaranteed a War Status of either "Fearless" or "Brave".
* Regular Clan Bonus is now awarded for every 5,000 clan points when having 100,000 clan points or more but with a reward of 100 turns and $500,000 (lowered from 150 turns and $750,000 for every 10,000 points).
* Clan Award changed: Golden Growth for first clan to reach $25mil networth and keep it for 24 hours (lowered from 48 hours - and no joins within last 72 hours).
* Shipping Starting Bonus has been changed to: Missile orders ship 50% faster (no longer affects market orders), plus ability to choose exact arrival time (up to 6 hours delayed - lowered from 12 hours delayed), plus 15% default market discount, plus 2,500 m2 land and $250,000 money.
* The Starting Bonus can now be chosen during the first 48 hours after you first login (instead of only being available while in Nuke Protection). After the 48 hours, a random bonus will automatically be chosen for you upon your next login.
* Additional Clan Recruiting System settings are now available to Normal Clans (used to be Gold and Platinum Clans only).
* Tags for Bold, Italic and Underline are now available in the Clan Message for Normal Clans (used to be Gold and Platinum Clans only).
* Missile Accuracy Level 3 has been removed.
* Missile Accuracy Level 2 now gives you a 95% chance to hit target (increased from 80%).
* The selling price on the market is now 1.05 times the original value (lowered from 1.10 times).
* The date your province name was last changed will now be reset at the end of each round (this means you can now change your province name during the round break even if you changed it within the last two weeks).
* The Points Per Attack on the Statistics Central page now only includes successful attacks.
* The Attacks Per Day on the Statistics Central page is now based on your first attack (it would reset when you die or reset your account).
* Machinegun Turrets now have a price/attack/life of $1450/275/245 (changed from $1200/190/290).
* Accounts that have been registered for more than 18 months will not be automatically removed until after 120 days of inactivity.
* Forums have now been categorized into groups for easier access.

Raiding at High NW - by Equinox
Networth players are constantly making limited boosts in an effort to have as much individual NW while maintaining a stable province. Less land makes you easier to pick on, because land is life and defense. Land is critical to not only the original boost but to maintaining your boost and staying in the top list. Too little land, and you don’t have enough buildings to survive a single raid. Too little land, and you won’t have enough room to build housing, defense bases and power for all of that. Starting in Round 31 the maximum amount of provinces in a clan will be changed to 15
(lowered from 20). The CL/CO/CT’s will automatically stay in the clan and then the members who have been a member of the clan for the shortest amount of time will be auto-kicked from the clan until the total is a maximum of 15. If the clan has 15 or less members then no changes will be made. |
Medal Of Development R30 - By Equinox
Round 30’s Medal of Development was recently won by the Clan Leader of SiMpLe, Zhygis (#139251) in a very well planned and well executed boost to the top along with two of his teammates – Minj and Sono. Welcome to Round 30. We wish all of you a successful and exciting round. The following adjustments and changes have been made for your enjoyment. Additional changes will be made during the round.
Changes / Additions
* Chosen main target is now shown on step 3 when launching a missile.
* Missile power usage is now accurately shown on step 3 when launching a missile.
* Research has been changed to time based (from sciences). You may only research one at a time and each level of research costs 25 turns and take a specified amount of time to complete. Every 50 Research Labs will deduct 10% from the time it will take to complete your research (to a maximum of 200 RL’s or 40%). Research now adds $775 networth for each hour it takes to complete (before deductions).
* Research Labs now have a price/life/power usage of $6000/400/4000 (increased from $2000/200/2000).
* Orbital Research Labs deduct 20% from the time it will take to complete your research and reduces the turn cost for researching down to 20 turns (to a maximum of 60% time deduction with full Research Labs).
* The Defensive Starting Bonus now deducts 10% of the time it will take to complete your research (to a maximum of 40% with full Research Labs) in addition to its other benefits.
* Security System research has been removed.
* Bank Management:
Level 1 (5 hours) – Bank stores up to $3 500 000 and bank interest increased by 0,5%.
Level 2 (5 hours) – Bank stores up to $4 500 000 and bank interest increased by 0,75% + option to withdraw money after 24 hours with no interest but with a 25% fee.
Level 3 (5 hours) – Bank stores up to $5 000 000 and bank interest increased by 1,0% + the 25% fee for early withdrawals is removed + the fee of 1/4 the money is removed when sending aid.
* Engineer Effectiveness:
Level 1 (10 hours) – 10 buildings built per turn.
Level 2 (10 hours) – 15 buildings built per turn.
* Market Discount:
Level 1 (5 hours) – 15% discount on all units purchased from the market.
Level 2 (5 hours) – 30% discount on all units purchased from the market.
* Market Shipping Time:
Level 1 (5 hours) – Shipping time reduced to 9 hours.
Level 2 (5 hours) – Shipping time reduced to 6 hours.
* Missile Accuracy:
Level 1 (10 hours) – 50% chance to hit target.
Level 2 (10 hours) – 80% chance to hit target.
Level 3 (10 hours) – 95% chance to hit target.
* Money Production:
Level 1 (15 hours) – Income increased to $20 000 per hour.
Level 2 (15 hours) – Income increased to $30 000 per hour.
* Power Plant Efficiency:
Level 1 (5 hours) – Power Plants life and power produced increased by 50%.
* Satellite Technology:
Level 1 (10 hours) – Allows you to build satellites.
Level 2 (10 hours) – Extends the maximum orbit time of satellites by 5 days.
Level 3 (10 hours) – Construction cost of satellites reduced by 20% and each use of a satellite will cost 4 turns instead of 5.
* Thief Education:
Level 1 (5 hours) – Thieves steal two times the amount of money.
Level 2 (5 hours) – Thieves steal three times the amount of money.
Level 3 (5 hours) – Thieves steal four times the amount of money.
* Clans loose 25% of the average combo points per member gained for the duration a member have been in the clan when leaving or getting kicked.
* Morale Used and Morale Lost added to status page.
* Chosen Starting Bonus shown on the status page.
* Total Wars Outgoing and Wars Incoming for the entire round added to private clan information page.
* The Points Per Attack on the Statistics Central page now only includes successful attacks.
* Medal of Devastation added (most NW damage done in a single successful attack with units during a clan war).
* Medal of Knowledge has been temporarily removed.
* Combo points for the last day of the round will be awarded when the round ends.
* A surprise feature has been added and will be announced within a few days.

The Speed Round will begin at 22:00 CET on Thursday, October 9th. As usual sign ups will close as soon as the round begins so register now in order to avoid disappointment!
Changes
* The exact start time and end time of the round is now publically displayed (both can be seen on the speed.nukezone.nu login page).
* Missile Power is now received every 15 minutes (changed from every 20 minutes).
* Clans can now have 4 outgoing wars simultaneously (increased from 3).
* Ability to change your Province Name after signing up, until the round starts (on the preferences page).
* 1 Speed Round Pass will be awarded for the winner of each medal.

Combo R28 - By Cyberon
The combo race this round has been quite an exceptional race, contrasting to last round's race which was less intense. [oNz] got out of the blocks very fast, followed by a few of the bigger shotgun clans. But as the round further evolved [B29] started to catch up. Everything made it look like it was going to be a tight race between these two famous clans, however halfway through the round, [B29] took over and managed to maintain a lead for the rest of the round. In the end [oNz] finished up second, and [us2ad] finished up third... read what happened!
Main Targeting - By Equinox
Main targeting is an option you have during the first stage of an attack order, found under Attack Options on the attack page. You have numerous choices, from Research Labs to Defense Buildings. Main targeting merely allows you to strike a provinces buildings more efficiently, and thus kill more of a certain type than you would otherwise while losing a little attack power to balance the capability. Buildings that are destroyed in an attack is determined by the ratio of every building to each other. A province will lose buildings based on the ratio of life of each building you own... read on!
